Dwayne "the rock" Johnson is back to his ruthless no-nonsense self, in the new action thriller, Faster. Johnson plays a man simply called Driver, a former getaway driver who has just been released after doing 10 hard years in prison. Driver has one need, one simple but deadly motivation: to find the people whose treachery landed him behind bars and killed his brother. The characters in this are excellent. The Rock is up against a veteran cop (Billy Bob Thornton) just days from retirement, and a young egocentric hit man (Oliver Jackson-Cohen). The plot has some unexpected twists and keeps the audience on the edge of their seat. Faster is full of fast paced and action and impressive stunts, high-octane driving, everything a movie of it's genre needs.
